Job summary

Ares Enterprise, LLC is a fast-growing GovCon company delivering IT modernization and cybersecurity solutions to federal civilian and DoD clients. The Business Development Manager will build a qualified pipeline, engage government decision-makers, and shape opportunities through capture and proposal stages.

The role requires established DoD and civilian agency relationships, deep knowledge of federal procurement, and the ability to collaborate with leadership, capture, and technical teams to win

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of federal GovCon business development experience.
• Proven track record of identifying, qualifying, pursuing, and winning contracts.
• Established relationships within DoD and federal civilian agencies.
• Strong understanding of FAR and federal procurement lifecycle.
• Experience using SAM.gov, GovWin, GSA eBuy, USAspending, FPDS.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and pursue DoD and civilian federal opportunities.
• Maintain a robust pipeline aligned with growth strategy.
• Develop account plans and strategic partnerships.
• Coordinate with capture, proposal, and executive teams to win contracts.
• Track opportunities in the CRM and provide accurate forecasts.
• Travel for customer meetings and events as needed.
