Job summary

Larson Design Group, an award-winning, employee-owned AEC firm, seeks a Fire Protection Engineer to lead multi-discipline design, analysis, and testing for commercial and government facilities.

Responsibilities include design, code analysis, QA/QC, cost estimates, schedules, and mentoring junior staff; a PE is required, QFPE preferred, and proficiency with Revit/AutoCAD and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience; DoD experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; QFPE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, and testing/commissioning of fire protection systems.
• Perform building code and life-safety analyses for projects.
• Prepare construction documents, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and interns.
