Job summary

Beacon Hill Technologies seeks a data center networking engineer to support a multi-year federal contract. You will handle lifecycle and incident management for data center infrastructure, monitor systems, and ensure SLA adherence.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience supporting and installing data center networking infrastructure.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph issued through the NSA.
• Hands-on experience in network engineering and monitoring tools.
• Experience applying patches, service packs, and security configurations.
• Background monitoring network performance and capacity planning.
• Current Security+ certification.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain data center networking infrastructure for a large federal program.
• Participate in deployment, installation, and troubleshooting per government and corporate standards.
• Continuously monitor IT systems and respond to incidents by priority and severity.
• Serve as a technical resource for team members, customers, vendors, and partners.
• Investigate and resolve incidents and escalate as needed.
• Provide guidance to less experienced team members during incidents.
• Deliver high-level support and stay informed on industry trends.
• Evaluate support plans and align with customer needs and offerings.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers and sales teams.
• Recommend process improvements and share best practices.
