Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates using industry-standard tools in accordance with FAR/CAS and agency-specific regulations.
  • Analyze contractor cost proposals, bids, and change orders for accuracy and compliance.
  • Interpret and quantify drawings, specifications, and statements of work to develop estimates and supporting documentation.
  • Develop and maintain cost models, pricing databases, and historical cost data to support estimating accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, and contracting officers to ensure alignment between estimates and technical requirements.
  • Support value engineering by identifying cost-saving opportunities and alternative materials or methods.
