Job summary

One Federal Solution is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist I to support our Federal Government client in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on cradle-to-grave contract operations, input into UFMS, and collaboration with Government Contracting Officers and program offices.

Candidates must be U.S. Citizens, able to pass a Public Trust background check, and possess a Bachelor’s with 24 business credits along with 4+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 24 credit hours in business.
• Minimum of four (4) years of related work experience.
• Recent Federal Contracting Officer or Contract Specialist experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of FAR Parts 8, 12, and 15.
• FAC-C Level II or DAWIA Level II certification preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to undergo and pass a Public Trust background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct contract reviews and cradle-to-grave contract operations, including call order modifications and contract closeouts.
• Input contracts, task orders, and purchase orders into UFMS.
• Assist Government Contracting Officers with large and small purchase contract actions.
• Review solicitation packages for completeness.
• Advise and assist program offices by providing examples of required documents for solicitation packages.
• Support contracting activities in accordance with FAR requirements.
• Liaise with Federal employees, contractors, and divisions across the organization.
