Job summary

One Federal Solution is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist I to support a Federal Government client in Arlington, VA. The role involves cradle-to-grave contracting support throughout the acquisition lifecycle, working closely with Federal employees, contractors, and divisions.

This onsite, full-time position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a Public Trust background investigation. Candidates should have strong FAR knowledge and recent federal contracting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 24 credit hours in business.
• Minimum of four (4) years of related work experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
• Recent Federal Contracting Officer or Contract Specialist experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of FAR Parts 8, 12, and 15.
• FAC-C Level II or DAWIA Level II certification preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to undergo and pass a Public Trust background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cradle-to-grave contract operations, including call order modifications and contract closeouts.
• Input contracts, task orders, and purchase orders into UFMS.
• Assist Government Contracting Officers with large and small purchase actions.
• Review solicitation packages for completeness.
• Advise program offices with required documents for solicitation packages.
• Support contracting activities in accordance with FAR requirements.
• Liaise with Federal employees, contractors, and divisions across the organization.

Job description

One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist I to support our Federal Government client in Arlington, VA. The Contract Specialist will provide acquisition and contracting support for various government contracts, assisting with contract actions throughout the acquisition lifecycle. This position will work closely with Federal employees, contractors, and divisions across the organization.

This is a full-time, position located onsite at 1215 S. Clark Street, Arlington, VA 22202. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and must be able to undergo and pass a Public Trust background investigation.

Contract Specialist I Key Responsibilities

• Conduct contract reviews and assist with cradle-to-grave contract operations, including call order modifications and contract closeouts.
• Input contracts, task orders, and purchase orders into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS).
• Assist Government Contracting Officers with large and small purchase contract actions.
• Review solicitation packages for completeness.
• Advise and assist program offices by providing examples of required documents to be included in solicitation packages.
• Support contracting activities in accordance with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements.
• Liaise with Federal employees, contractors, and divisions across the organization in support of contracting activities.
