Job summary

Kokosing is seeking an experienced field supervisor to manage federal project execution in the Mid-Atlantic, centered on Tidewater Virginia. You will lead self-perform crews, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, and uphold safety and project goals within time and funding constraints.

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, site logistics, and maintaining accurate reports and as-builts to prevent rework and cost overruns on MILCON and infrastructure work.

Qualifications

• Must hold a 4-year engineering or construction management degree.
• 10+ years of construction/management experience in self-performing GC roles.
• 5+ years of superintendent-level leadership required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, plan and coordinate personnel, equipment and materials for self-perform work.
• Coordinate subcontractors and provide GC support to safe, effective execution.
• Review field drawings and implement them on site with the Foreman.
• Lead safety and productivity planning on designated items with crews.
• Develop an effective site logistics and laydown plan.
• Ensure accurate weekly as-builts and daily reports from supers and subs.
