Construction Site Safety and Health Officer position at Hanover, MD. The role focuses on promoting a proactive safety culture across projects, ensuring OSHA and EM 385-1-1 compliance, and coordinating with government safety representatives. Salary range $115k–$130k.

Requirements include 10+ years in construction safety management on federal projects, OSHA 30 and EM 385-1-1 training, and strong knowledge of building systems. US citizenship and ability to obtain security access are preferred.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• 10+ years of experience as a Construction Safety Manager on commercial or federal construction projects.
• Experience managing safety on federal construction projects for agencies such as USACE, DoD, NAVFAC, GSA, or similar federal customers.
• OSHA 30 training and EM 385-1-1 training certificates.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Safety Leadership: promote a proactive safety culture on every project and ensure site safety plans meet OSHA/EM 385-1-1 requirements.
• Quality Control: ensure work complies with plans, UFCs, and contract docs.
• Field Leadership: coordinate subcontractors and field personnel to maintain safety, schedule and productivity.
• Project Execution: monitor progress and support turnover and closeout activities.
• Client Relationships: serve as field representative and communicate progress professionally.
