Job summary

SAVI EHS is seeking a seasoned Construction Safety Manager to lead all site safety efforts on a high‑profile federal project in the Cambridge, MA area. You will ensure compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA 29 CFR 1926, and client safety policies, and drive corrective actions after inspections.

You will develop JHAs/AHAs/STAs, deliver safety orientations and trainings, maintain records, and collaborate with project leadership to mitigate risk while promoting a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of construction safety management experience.
  • Experience supporting federal construction projects strongly preferred.
  • EM 385-1-1 40-Hour certification required.
  • BCSP certification (CHST, CSP, STS-C, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Competent Person training in Fall Protection, Confined Space, Excavation, or related disciplines is a plus.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
