BSNC is seeking a Construction Site Safety and Health Officer for Hanover, MD. The role leads safety across federal construction projects, ensuring OSHA and EM 385-1-1 compliance while coordinating with project teams and government representatives.

Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, leading training, reviewing plans, and supporting turnover with documentation. Candidates should have 10+ years of experience, US citizenship, and the ability to access federal facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years as Construction Safety Manager on commercial or federal projects.
• Experience with federal safety requirements (USACE/DoD/NAVFAC/GSA).
• Valid OSHA 30 and EM 385-1-1 training certificates.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety across projects and ensure OSHA/EM 385-1-1 compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors and government safety reps on safety plans.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and training on site.
• Review drawings and contract documents to prevent safety issues.
• Support project turnover and closeout with proper documentation.
