Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Federal Construction to oversee large DOD projects at Ellsworth Air Force Base in Rapid City, SD. You will coordinate with government stakeholders and manage high-value programs now in execution.

Lead pre-construction through closeout, oversee budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders and subcontractors while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• General contractor experience is required.
• Federal, DoD, USACE, or military construction experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, scheduling, budgets, and contracts.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontractor management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam and CM software preferred.
• Willingness to travel for project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, permits, and change orders.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate with project teams.
• Monitor quality, safety, and project progress.
• Work directly with government representatives and project stakeholders.
