CDM Smith is seeking a Federal construction Project Manager to plan, direct, and manage all phases of complex projects for federal clients across sites in the United States. You will coordinate contractors, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and maintain rigorous project documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, with the ability to work in the field and manage multiple stakeholders. Travel is frequent, and sponsorship is not provided.

Formación

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Able to pass a federal background check.
• Ability to work in the field including long periods of standing, walking or sitting.
• Ability to read and interpret construction codes, plans, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Knowledge of and ability to comply with applicable federal, state and local regulations, statutes, ordinances, rules, and laws.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, direct, and manage all phases of Federal construction projects to ensure successful execution.
• Oversee activities of contractors, subcontractors, and on-site personnel to maintain quality, safety, and compliance.
• Act as primary liaison between Federal government client’s construction branch and stakeholders.
• Review and evaluate construction documents for FAR compliance and codes.
• Lead pre-construction conferences, design meetings, and site inspections.
• Ensure construction activities meet safety and environmental standards.
• Track progress, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor junior staff and promote best practices in construction management.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation for submission to federal agencies.
• Promote a culture of safety across sites, including OSHA and agency standards.
