Job summary

Kaiva Tech, LLC is seeking a Compliance Review Attorney to support federal compliance and regulatory review for a government client. The attorney will analyze complaints, inquiries, and supporting documentation to determine disposition and ensure adherence to laws and policies.

The position is on-site in Washington, D.C., with a Monday–Friday schedule, full-time (40 hours/week), and Exempt status. Active bar membership and JD are required, with at least three years of relevant legal experience.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience conducting legal analysis, investigations, compliance reviews, regulatory reviews, administrative reviews, or case evaluations preferred.
• Experience supporting government, regulatory, compliance, investigative, or legal operations environments preferred.
• Demonstrated legal writing, analytical, and research skills required.

Responsibilities

• Review complaints, allegations, inquiries, and supporting documentation for completeness and sufficiency.
• Conduct legal and factual analysis to identify relevant issues and determine appropriate disposition.
• Evaluate information for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedural requirements.
• Perform research and analysis to support case review and compliance-related activities.
• Draft correspondence, memoranda, summaries, reports, and other written work products.
• Maintain accurate case files, documentation, and supporting records within applicable systems.
• Analyze large volumes of information and documentation while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communicate with stakeholders to obtain additional information, clarification, or supporting documentation as needed.
• Support quality assurance efforts to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of work products.
• Manage multiple assignments and competing priorities while meeting established deadlines and performance standards.
• Protect sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
