Ideal candidates have a JD, active bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, and 3+ years of relevant experience, with strong writing and research skills. On-site in Chicago; full-time with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) and bar membership required.
• Minimum of three years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience with government, regulatory or compliance reviews is preferred.
• Strong legal writing and research skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Review complaints, allegations, inquiries, and supporting documentation for completeness and sufficiency.
• Conduct legal and factual analysis to identify issues and determine disposition or next steps.
• Evaluate information for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Perform research to support case review and compliance activities.
• Draft correspondence, memoranda, and case-related documents.
• Maintain accurate case files and records in appropriate systems.
• Communicate with stakeholders to obtain information and clarify issues.
• Support quality assurance to ensure accuracy and timeliness of work products.
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines with competing priorities.
• Protect sensitive and confidential information in accordance with policies.
