Job summary

Google Public Sector seeks a Customer Engineer to partner with Sales, differentiate Google Cloud, and craft cloud solutions for Federal Law Enforcement needs. You will engage with customers and partners, develop architectures, run proofs-of-concepts, and help drive successful deployments across the Google Cloud platform.

US-based role with Reston, VA, or DC locations; individual pay factors apply and compensation includes a 127k–184k USD base with a 42.86% bonus target plus equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in customer-facing engineering roles with Federal Law Enforcement customers.
• Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
• Experience engaging with, or presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
• Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build customer specific, go-to-market solutions to reduce business cycles and drive customer workloads as measured through pipeline and business growth.
• Own the technical relationship with customers, enabling pilots or proofs-of-concept and guiding migrations to ensure successful deployment.
• Build trusted advisory relationships and advise on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and infrastructure.
• Lead technical projects, advocacy, bid responses, product/solution briefings, and coordination of supporting technical resources.
