Job summary

Volunteers of America Texas seeks a Federal Case Manager to provide case management for federal clients, coordinating intake, assessments, goals, and service plans. You will maintain case files and collaborate with families, agencies, and community resources to support reintegration.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in social/human services, criminal justice or behavioral science, plus a Texas driver’s license and a good driving record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social, human services, criminal justice or behavioral science.
• One year of experience in human services, corrections or community-based services, or equivalent education/experience.
• Valid Texas driver's license with clear MVR and ability to be insured.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates intake and orientation of new clients within established time frames.
• Conducts and coordinates client assessments to determine needs and service plans.
• Maintains complete and current case files, documents services regularly.
• Advises on discipline, emergencies, and action alternatives; coordinates client releases.
• Conducts living skills and group counseling sessions using approved curriculum.
• Promotes VOA-TX policies and procedures within the program and with sponsors.
• Meets with assigned clients and coordinates passes with sponsoring agencies.
