Job summary

Contact Government Services (CGS) in Los Angeles seeks a seasoned Business Analyst to support a large federal agency. You will partner with internal business owners and external partners to define functional requirements and translate them into clear specifications.

You will develop documentation, briefings, and training materials, and work with Jira/Confluence and Microsoft products to deliver effective content and process improvements.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in CS or engineering
• 7+ years in business or systems analysis
• Experience with phase-based and Agile delivery methods

Responsibilities

• Gather and translate requirements into process maps and system specifications
• Create documentation including architecture diagrams and ops concepts
• Develop high-level briefings and customer communications
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and tech implementation
• Perform risk management and escalate issues as needed
• Collaborate with government and internal teams
• Write and edit content, including manuals and procedures
• Support continuous improvement of products and processes
• Manage client interactions and cross-team dependencies
