Job summary

KMRG, LLC is seeking a Budget Analyst to support the United States Capitol Police and related offices in a hybrid role based in Southwest Washington, DC. Responsibilities include budget management, tracking expenditures, procurement support, and financial reporting to government stakeholders.

The role requires at least 3 years of federal budgeting experience, a finance or accounting degree, and strong Excel skills. Onsite work is required with potential telework as approved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 3+ years of federal budget management and execution experience.
• Experience analyzing financial data and supporting budget, invoice, reconciliation, or related financial-management activities.

Responsibilities

• Budget Management & Execution for USCP/OIS/IRMD.
• Track budget status, obligations, expenditures, and other financial information.
• Validate invoices and support procurement and contract closeout activities.
• Prepare financial summaries and supporting analysis for Government review.
• Support recurring cost-status and burn-rate reporting using current invoice and budget information.
