The role requires a US citizenship with an active Secret clearance, a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and hands-on work with LLMs and Git.

Qualifications

• US citizen with active Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in applied ML/AI engineering, including production prompt engineering or agentic system design.
• Hands-on experience with large language model APIs and scaling for cost/performance.
• Proficiency with version control tools (Git).
• Ability to work full-time on-site in the DC area.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and refine prompts for AI agents in multi-agent simulations.
• Integrate with a cloud-based generative AI platform for performance and cost optimization.
• Validate AI outputs using statistical models and SME feedback.
• Improve agent reliability and realism as new use cases emerge.
