Americans for Prosperity in Washington, DC seeks a Federal Affairs Coordinator and Legislative Aide to support the federal government affairs team. You will manage operations, budgets, and communications to enable policy advocacy across AFP, CVA, and The LIBRE Initiative.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in operations, administration, or government affairs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legislative platforms.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations for the federal government affairs team and maintain calendars and trackers.
• Track the budget with the Director of Federal Government Affairs and prepare budget reports.
• Manage system tools, content, and subscriptions; support IT troubleshooting and purchases.
• Research and analyze bills, track committee and floor votes, and attend hearings and events.
