Job summary

Hive Group, a HUBZone-certified SDVOSB and multiple award-winning organization, seeks an Editor/Technical Writer SME III to lead complex federal acquisition documentation for the GSA AAS client. Expect expert reviews, content refinement, and SOP/GSA template updates.

Hybrid/Remote with on-site one day weekly for those within 50 miles of HQ. Ideal candidate has deep FAR/DFARS knowledge, strong Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace skills, and experience applying AI-assisted editing to improve

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Business, Education or related field.
5+ years as Editor/Technical Writer/Acquisition SME in Federal environment.
Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and Federal policy mandates.
Expert-level fluency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Experience integrating AI writing/research/editing tools.

Responsibilities

Lead expert-level reviews of Government acquisition documents ensuring accuracy and FAR/DFARS compliance.
Refine technical content for clarity and remove ambiguity.
Identify risks in acquisition documents and propose solutions before submission.
Update lifecycle templates with policy changes and ensure consistency.
Mentor team in editorial best practices and editing workflows.
Use Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and AI tools to streamline reviews and formatting.
