Job summary

Thompson Gray in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to provide programmatic support across acquisition planning, CRP development, SOWs, PWS, and proposal evaluation. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 5 years of federal acquisition experience, and a active Secret clearance to coordinate with Army stakeholders and ensure FAR compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of federal acquisition experience, preferably with the U.S. Army.
• Understanding of FAR.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete Contract Requirements Packages (CRPs) including SOWs, PWS, CDRLs, acquisition strategies, and market research reports.
• Support contract closeout procedures and ensure obligations are fulfilled.
• Assist with development of Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).
• Assist with evaluation of proposals and development of Technical Evaluation Reports.
• Coordinate with technical POCs on requirements development, QA, and special provisions.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain CRP and contract documents.
