Job summary

Thompson Gray Inc. is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to provide contracting expertise onsite at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The role emphasizes development of contract packages, acquisition plans and schedules while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and agency supplements.

The candidate will coordinate with government personnel, support contract actions and maintain contract records throughout milestones. A BS/BA and 12+ years’ related experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in related field.
• Minimum 12 years related experience.
• Knowledge of contracting concepts, FAR, DFARS, and agency supplements.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office.
• Some travel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop contract requirement packages, including J&A documents, SOIs, acquisition strategies and plans.
• Support development of contract strategies, requirement documentation and schedules.
• Track program status and perform risk assessments.
• Prepare requests for proposals, contract modifications and routine correspondence.
• Review solicitations and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and agency policies.
• Coordinate with Government personnel and Army stakeholders to ensure complete documentation for milestones.
• Support contract review, administration and closeout in line with FAR/DFARS and agency supplements.
