VAST Data is seeking an Account Executive - Federal to drive revenue with DOD customers across multiple applications like AI/ML and HPC. You will manage the sales cycle from prospecting through PoC and post-sale expansion, targeting large government accounts and strategic partners.

You will engage decision-makers at both business and technical levels, develop compelling proposals, and leverage channel partners to maximize market reach within the federal sector.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 10 years Direct DOD sales experience.
• Consistent track record of exceeding quota with large DOD customers.
• History of developing customers from the ground up with minimal resources.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Proficient with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Develop business with DOD customers supporting Splunk, AI/ML, HPC, Backup, Edge computing.
• Prospect and penetrate large accounts, reach decision-makers, and close business.
• Manage the sales process to align with customer buying cycles.
• Manage customer relationships from first meeting through PoC, to post-sale expansion.
• Develop and present proposals showing the ability of the VAST solution to meet objectives.
• Channel development: work with resellers and integrators to enable market leverage.
