Qualifications

• 7+ years as a fullstack engineer with Java (SpringBoot) and Angular.
• 1+ year experience leading teams and mentoring engineers.
• Frontend work with Angular and TypeScript.
• Backend work with Java and SpringBoot.
• Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across Angular-based web apps, Java services, API integrations, and delivery of digital capabilities.
• Drive solution design, technical delivery, code quality, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with architects and product teams, review designs and code, and troubleshoot complex issues.

We are looking for a Senior Lead Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in Angular and/or Java. This role will provide technical leadership across Angular‑based web applications, Java backend services, API integrations, and digital application delivery. The Senior Lead Engineer will be responsible for driving solution design, technical delivery, code quality, engineering best practices, and end‑to‑end implementation of digital capabilities. This role requires strong technical depth, the ability to work across frontend and backend teams, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions. The ideal candidate should be comfortable providing technical guidance, reviewing designs and code, partnering with architects and product teams, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring successful delivery from planning through production implementation.

Responsibilities

• Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in application development to manage specialized system applications throughout their lifecycle to ensure application solutions meet business needs.

• Influences and works to solve complex problems; analyzes more complex business requirements and user requirements and develops advanced, innovative and useful software solutions.

• Works independently with guidance in only the most complex situations.

• May lead complex or cross‑functional projects or manage relationships with vendors/contractors.

• Participates in all aspects of product development from advanced, detailed programming to high‑level, complex system design.

• Owns the architecture and technical design for new initiatives/enhancements, creates proof of concepts, leads/mentors teams, maintains strong connection with the external teams.

• Enforces quality and best practices, supports production issue and analysis, ensures project execution within the budget, provides estimate for the features and epics, and supports pre‑grooming.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• 7+ years working as a Fullstack engineer with Java (SpringBoot) and JavaScript (Angular)

• 1+ Experience managing teams and leading team members.

• Experience working on the frontend with Angular and Typescript.

• Experience working on the backend with Java

• Experience with microservices architecture, software design patterns, and RESTful API development

• Experience working with Cloud environments like AWS, Azure or GCP

• Knowledge of Agile methodology

Nice to Have

• Understanding of backend Javascript framework Node.js.
