Vanguard is recruiting for an Advance to Financial Planning Advisor Program in the United States. This full-time development path blends client interaction, mentorship, and structured progression toward a Financial Advisor role.

You will gain hands-on service experience, work with advice professionals, and prepare for CFP certification through an apprenticeship pathway, with a future promotion into a Mass Affluent Financial Advisor role.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; GPA 3.2+ preferred.
• CFP Board registered undergrad/grad program or commitment to pursue designation.
• SIE exam completed prior to start date.
• Series 7 and 63 licenses or equivalents within policy timeframe.
• Demonstrated leadership in academics/professional settings.
• Strong client service mindset and investment orientation.

Responsibilities

• Engage in a client-facing service role to build core advisory skills.
• Benefit from mentorship from Vanguard Advice professionals and senior management.
• Allocate dedicated advisor development time focused on personal financial planning.
• Advance CFP certification experience through the apprenticeship pathway.
• After 8–24 months, transition to a Mass Affluent Financial Advisor role within a team.
