The Vanguard Group offers a Summer 2027 internship for aspiring Certified Financial Planner professionals. This paid, full-time program blends hands-on financial planning exposure with mentorship and coaching, designed to support CFP certification and a future at Vanguard.

You will gain client-facing insights, work in a hybrid model in the US, and have a clear path to full-time opportunities including Vanguard's advisor development track.

Qualifications

• Current college junior pursuing CFP Board-Registered program.
• Desire to sit for the CFP exam before or after graduation.
• Strong communication, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team.
• Willingness to learn quickly.
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship at this time.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of the personal financial planning process.
• Learn how Vanguard Advisors interact with Personal Advisor Services clients.
• Receive coaching and mentorship from department and internship program manager.
• Connect with a dedicated mentor to navigate the corporate environment.
• Share knowledge and experiences with leaders and your team.
