Job summary

Vanguard is launching an Advance to Financial Planning Advisor Program in which you will gain real-world client experience and a structured development path toward a Financial Advisor role.

The program begins July 2027 and blends hands-on client interaction with ongoing mentorship to build the skills needed for personal wealth advice, with a clear progression into a Mass Affluent Financial Advisor role.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; GPA 3.2+ preferred.
• CFP Board registered undergrad/graduate program or pursuing CFP is preferred with company support.
• Successful completion of SIE exam prior to start date.
• Series 7 and 63 (or equivalent) within policy timeframe.
• Demonstrated leadership in academics, professional, or community settings.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on exposure in a client-facing service role.
• Receive mentorship from Vanguard Advice professionals and senior management.
• Complete CFP certification experience requirement within two years through the apprenticeship pathway.
