Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program is an accelerated, entry-level path designed to prepare you for a Store Management role in 18–24 months with a clear progression to Assistant Store Manager after the initial 8 weeks of training.

You will collaborate with store leadership to oversee a million-dollar business, learning operations, finance, and marketing while selling to large commercial users such as painting contractors and purchasing agents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must have at least a bachelor's degree by the start of the development program.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; occasional 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Complete training aligned with the program.
• Support business strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build knowledge of all products to guide customer recommendations.
• Develop positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration and adherence to policies and safety procedures.
• Maintain store condition and visual merchandising, including displays and promotions.
• Support employee training, performance management, and corrective action.
• Respond to and resolve customer and employee needs and complaints.
• Partner with Store Manager to grow market share through outside calls.
