Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Columbus, OH is recruiting for a Rental Management Trainee.

This 18–24 month accelerated program provides hands-on training across Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Sales & Marketing to prepare you for a leadership role in our rental business. You will handle inbound and outbound sales, manage rental assets, ensure data accuracy, and build strong customer relationships while meeting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required business administration or similar related degree.
• One (1) year or more customer service with issues resolution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle the sales process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation.
• Maintain current and accurate data within the company’s marketing database.
• Responsible for generating rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads.
• Manage all rental asset processes including Vehicle PM and cleanliness standards.
• Meet overall Ryder market share by executing sales and marketing initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies.
• Reconcile all customer concerns, issues, and disputes to grow the current customer base.
