Hertz Local Edition is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance and develop leadership skills, with promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months. Starting wage is $33,280 per year.

You will gain hands-on experience across sales, operations, fleet management, and finance while learning to lead a team. Ideal candidates are 20+, with a HS diploma, valid license, strong communication, and adaptability.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support achievement of location sales goals.
• Deliver excellent customer experience to contribute to high customer service scores.
• Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
• Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
• Assist with store operations and compliance.
• Support team with miscellaneous task including cleaning and preparing vehicles for customers, lot management, and customer service assistance.
• Learn finance processes and support deal completion.
• Understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics.
• Shadow and support management in daily operations.
• Build skills in team leadership, scheduling, and performance coaching.
