Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program is an accelerated, entry-level path designed to prepare you for Store Management in 18–24 months. An 8-week training can lead to an Assistant Store Manager role after completion.

You’ll collaborate with store leadership to run a million-dollar business and expand market share with painting contractors and other high-volume buyers. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and be prepared to work about 44 hours per week, including evenings

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree by the start of this development program.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Complete training consistent with the established program.
• Support business strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build knowledge of all products to provide effective customer recommendations.
• Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration tasks.
• Maintain store safety, loss prevention, and security policies.
• Assist in training and development of store staff and performance management.
• Respond to customer and employee inquiries and resolve issues.
• Partner with Store Manager on outside sales to grow market share.
