Job summary

Journeys, a teen retail leader, is seeking a District Sales Manager in Training to supervise retail store locations in the assigned district and develop the skills to advance to DSM. You will work under the District Sales Manager to drive execution and ensure profitable store performance.

In this fast-paced role you will recruit and train store teams, conduct regular store visits, and uphold company initiatives while traveling within the district.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years retail sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willingness to travel extensively within district.

Responsibilities

• Achieve district sales goals and profitability targets while maintaining home store performance.
• Staffing stores within the district.
• Manage Loss Prevention practices within the district.
• Recruit, interview, and hire store management candidates as per Regional/DSM instructions.
• Train, develop, and promote store employees within the district.
• Regularly conduct store visits as per Regional/DSM instructions.
• Maintain regular communication with District Sales Manager, Regional, and corporate office staff.
