Job summary

Givens Talent is seeking Processors/Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team in Chesapeake, VA. The role focuses on accurate order picking, packing, receiving and loading 53' trailers and containers, and preparing shipments.

The candidate should be able to lift up to 35 lbs, operate equipment such as palletizers and gantry cranes, and maintain high productivity in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Inspect merchandise for damages and defects.
• Unload Material to warehouse dock.
• Identify damaged product or shortages and report to appropriate personnel.
• Properly use RF scanners to confirm accuracy.
• Able to withstand repetitive motion. (Lifting, Bending, Turning.)
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods 35lbs
• Ability to operate various types of equipment to include but not limited to Palletizer, Gantry crane, Banding material
• Able to use hand grinders
• Ability to meet on time performance metrics
• Comply with policies/procedures including safety procedures
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Meet productivity goals and deadlines
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic Math skills Necessary
• Other duties as assigned
