Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) is seeking a Warehouse Selector at our Suffolk, VA facility to pick and move product between loading docks and warehouse using pallet jacks and forklifts. You will select cases, wrap and stage orders for shipment, and maintain safety and accuracy throughout shifts that run Sunday–Thursday evenings.

This role requires the ability to lift 60-100 lbs, operate in multi-temp environments, and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull product weighing 10-35 lbs regularly and up to 60-100 lbs
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer)
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
• Ability to become EPJ certified within the new-hire training period
• Ability to complete required training independently

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule, obtain supplies, and prepare for operations.
• Perform safety checks on pallet jack and forklift; ensure safety devices function.
• Wear required PPE and safety gear.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and navigate multi-level racks to locate products.
• Move finished orders to shipping dock, shrink-wrap as needed.
• Transport palletized orders to loading dock staging area and ensure timely shipment.
• End-of-shift secure equipment and complete paperwork.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location and guidelines.
