Job summary

Xfinity Live! in Washington, DC is seeking a Cook to join our sports and social kitchen team. You will prepare and cook orders for daily operations in a fast-paced environment while upholding quality and presentation.

Responsibilities include controlling food usage to minimize waste, restocking, maintaining sanitation, and coordinating with staff. Some nights, weekends, and holidays may be required. Strong kitchen experience is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience cooking on a fast-paced kitchen line.
• Culinary certified training preferred.
• Knowledge of following recipes, portion control, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook orders for daily operations in a timely manner.
• Control food usage to minimize waste; restock items as needed.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness to meet Health Board standards.
• Keep work area clean and organized; assist with other kitchen duties as needed.
• Promote teamwork and clear communication with other departments; may interact with guests.
