Job summary

Lidl US is seeking Store Associates to support daily operations from checkout to stocking, bakery, and produce. In a fast-paced, team-based environment, you’ll ensure high standards of service, presentation, and safety while helping customers have a smooth shopping experience.

You’ll be cross-trained across departments, enabling quick adaptation to real-time store needs and promotions. The role emphasizes efficiency, accuracy, and a friendly, helpful attitude in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
• Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and reach above head height frequently.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers with friendly, efficient service.
• Seamlessly transition between checkout, stocking, bakery, or produce.
• Meet productivity goals by following Lidl’s processes and pallet-to-shelf stocking.
• Perform daily freshness checks in produce and chilled areas.
• Set up and organize non-food promotions and weekly offers with clear signage and pricing.
• Maintain cleanliness standards across sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
• Operate the register quickly and accurately, memorizing PLUs.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Assist with inventory accuracy and shrink control.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
• Collaborate with the team to complete daily tasks on time.
