Pathmark Transportation in Memphis seeks an entry-level operations specialist to help keep freight moving. You will work directly with shippers, carriers, and customers, wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate pickups, build loads in our TMS, track shipments, communicate updates, and resolve issues promptly. This is an opportunity to grow with a fast-growing freight brokerage.

Responsibilities

• Appointment Setting: Coordinate and schedule pickup and delivery appointments with shippers, receivers, and carriers
• Load Building: Build and organize loads in our TMS, ensuring accuracy on rates, lanes, and load details
• Track & Trace: Proactively monitor shipments in transit, update statuses, and flag potential delays before they become problems
• Customer Communication: Respond promptly and professionally to customer emails, providing shipment updates, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships
• Carrier Communication: Check in with drivers/carriers throughout transit to confirm ETAs and gather POD/paperwork
• Problem Solving: Handle day-of issues (delays, detention, appointment changes) calmly and quickly
