Job summary

Pathmark Transportation in Memphis is seeking an Assistant Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of a transportation facility, coordinating schedules, supervising drivers and staff, and ensuring safe, efficient service to retail clients.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in business or logistics, 10 years in transportation or warehousing, and experience with dock, warehouse and TMS systems; knowledge of Excel is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management, supply chain management, logistics transportation, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in transportation, logistics or warehouse industry
• Experience with Dock, warehouse and transportation management
• TMS Web base knowledge
• Microsoft, Excel skill

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations and transportation activities.
• Supervise, train, and motivate drivers, warehouse personnel and staff.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure driver and equipment availability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors and partners.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to employees.
• Participate in strategic planning and improvement initiatives
• Provide operational support and perform other duties as assigned by the facility manager.
