Mex 1 Coastal Cantina is hiring Line Cooks for our West Ashley kitchen team in Charleston. If you love fast-paced, high-volume service and take pride in great food, we want to meet you.

We’re seeking motivated, dependable team members with a willingness to learn; nights, weekends, and holidays are required. Growth opportunities exist within our locally owned restaurant group and a fun, supportive kitchen culture.

Qualifications

• Line cook or kitchen experience preferred (but we’re willing to train the right person).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menu items according to Mex 1 recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Support prep and closing duties as assigned.
