The Firehouse Restaurant is seeking a Dishwasher/Prep Cook to support kitchen operations under the guidance of the Executive Chef and Chef De Cuisine. You will assist with food prep, cook tasks, and keep dishes, utensils, and surfaces clean to ensure smooth service.

This role emphasizes sanitation, proper stock rotation, inventory support, and a team-oriented attitude. Candidate should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of cooking experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and food preparation techniques.
• Basic dish machine operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep and cooking tasks.
• Measure and weigh ingredients to ensure accuracy.
• Store food items properly and rotate stock to ensure freshness.
• Assist with inventory and stocking supplies.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment, ensuring all dishes, glassware, and utensils are clean and sanitized.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down counters and appliances, and cleaning equipment.
• Assist with trash and recycling removal and disposal.
