Job summary

The Genuine Parts Company (NAPA Auto Parts Private Fleet) is seeking a motivated forklift operator to join a fast-paced transportation operations team. The role focuses on moving palletized shipments, loading trailers, and maintaining safety and regulatory standards throughout each shift.

Responsibilities include high-volume cross-dock handling, accurate scanning, equipment inspections, and keeping work areas clean and secure while meeting trailer utilization goals and production targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a forklift operator.
• Experience with sit-down/stand-up forklifts is a plus.
• Forklift certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Move palletized shipments and load trailers efficiently to maximize load volume.
• Transport freight to/from inbound/outbound trailers while maintaining safety.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and basic maintenance as needed.
• Ensure shipments are accurate, undamaged, and properly scanned.
• Operate in a fast-paced cross-dock environment and follow DOT/OSHA rules.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and warehouse premises.
