Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a forklift operator for the NAPA Auto Parts Private Fleet in Indianapolis, Indiana. This fast-paced role requires you to load/unload trailers, stack pallets, and ensure accurate counts while complying with DOT and OSHA standards.

You will operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts and maintain a clean, safe dock environment. Responsibilities include maximizing trailer utilization, inspecting equipment, reporting quality variances, and working with cross-dock

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent forklift operator experience.
• Experience with sit-down/stand-up forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs or more as required by tasks.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload trailers and transport freight to/from inbound/outbound docks.
• Stack, brace, and secure pallets to maximize trailer utilization.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; report variances.
• Inspect and operate equipment safely; keep trailers clean and organized.
• Adhere to OSHA and DOT safety standards and maintain a safe dock area.
