Job summary

Group 1 Automotive, Inc. is seeking a Document Processor to support the Virtual Finance Manager workflow and ensure accurate financing paperwork.

You will load deals, prepare federal and state documents, coordinate with the Accounting and Sales teams, and help drive fast, compliant funding. Experience in Sales, Customer Service or F&I plus familiarity with Darwin or CDK helps; a customer-focused, professional demeanor is valued.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Sales, Customer Service, or F&I departments required.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills at all levels.
• Highly self-motivated with exceptional customer-facing abilities.
• Positive attitude with a high-energy, professional demeanor.
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience with Darwin and CDK systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load the deal into the virtual queue and initiate the Zoom call for the Virtual Finance Manager (VFM).
• Transition the customer to the Virtual Finance Manager and clearly set expectations for the VFI process.
• Support positive influence regarding the products offered by the Virtual Finance Manager.
• Accurately prepare all federal, state, and dealership paperwork related to the transaction, and submit it to the Accounting Department in a timely manner.
• Resolve documentation issues with the Accounting Department, including correcting paperwork errors and addressing held offerings.
• Process and monitor the funding of finance contracts within established time frames.
• Secure and finalize all transactions in a legal, ethical, and efficient manner while maintaining high productivity.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Maintain proficiency with commonly used computer programs and systems that integrate with dealership operations and financial institutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the accounting team, Sales team, and management.
• Consistently demonstrate behaviors aligned with the Company’s Values in all interactions with coworkers and vendors.
