Job summary

Gear Up Sports is seeking an Order Specialist in Hillsboro, OR to manage bulk and brand-specific orders from entry through delivery. You will coordinate with Sales, Fulfillment, and suppliers to keep orders moving quickly—meeting tight timelines while maintaining accuracy and a strong customer focus.

The role requires 1–3 years in order entry/management, purchasing, or customer service in a fast-paced environment, with 40 hours in-office per week. Health benefits and 401(k) options are provided.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in order entry/management, purchasing, or customer service in a high-volume environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• In-person attendance 40 hours per week is generally expected.

Responsibilities

• Create and process sales orders quickly and accurately.
• Purchase items from suppliers to fulfill orders.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy while handling time-sensitive, high-value orders.
• Identify potential delays early and work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues before they impact customers.
• Interact with the sales team, suppliers, and the fulfillment teams.
• Create, update and train others on workflow processes.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts.
• Other projects as assigned by management.
