• Process transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently at the check lane.
• Understand POS system and handle tender types per policy (cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons).
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items and stay current with ads.
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Maintain food safety and safety procedures; identify issues and notify management.
• Provide customer assistance and foster a welcoming store environment.
