Job summary

Torsap Thai Kitchen is looking for a reliable kitchen worker to prepare and cook burgers, fries, chicken, sandwiches, and other fast-food items on site. You will follow recipes and portion sizes, operate grills, fryers, and ovens, and maintain safety and sanitation standards.

Team players who manage their time well, communicate effectively with staff, and help keep the kitchen organized will thrive in this role. This position includes on-the-job training and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• General cooking and food-preparation abilities required.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion control.
• Understanding of food-safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items such as burgers, fries, chicken, sandwiches, and other fast-food products.
• Follow recipes, portion sizes, and food-preparation procedures.
• Operate grills, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and follow food-safety and sanitation standards.
• Prepare ingredients, stock supplies, and keep the kitchen organized.
• Clean cooking equipment, workstations, and food-preparation areas.
• Monitor food quality and ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time.
• Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality and safety.
• Communicate with kitchen staff, cashiers, and managers to coordinate orders.
• Follow company policies and health-code requirements.
