Job summary

IHOP Oak Ridge is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations in a fast casual setting. You will support the Restaurant Manager, enforce food safety standards, and drive guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, restaurant management experience, and the ability to train and develop a team. Starting pay is $17 to $17.50 per hour DOE, with benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, paid vacation, and meal discounts.

Qualifications

• Management experience in fast-paced casual dining.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• Willing to undergo a background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with running the restaurant alongside the General Manager.
• Oversee operations to meet budgeted sales and profit goals.
• Handle finances and deposits as needed.
• Implement training programs for hourly team members.
• Improve unit operations and guest experience.
• Support annual marketing and HR objectives for the unit.
• Recruit, train, and retain team members.
• Ensure adequate supplies and sanitation compliance.
• Maintain equipment and building safety and compliance.
