Job summary

White House Black Market (WHBM) is seeking a Sales Lead in San Juan, PR to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and uphold brand standards. You will shape a welcoming, customer-centric environment that reflects our culture of hospitality and drive performance through coaching, training, and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• A team player with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability—nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with opening and closing responsibilities.
• Share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and use an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities including cash handling, scheduling, inventory, and replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development and scheduling when needed.
• Share ideas with the store leadership team.
• Foster a positive work environment through teamwork.
