Job summary

Knitwell Group is seeking a Sales Lead for its WHBM store in Birmingham, AL. You will partner with store leaders to supervise the team, set direction, and uphold brand standards, creating a welcoming, customer-focused culture that goes beyond transactions.

Responsibilities include coaching, scheduling support, inventory, and executing store operations while driving sales and delivering personalized experiences consistent with our hospitality-focused culture.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability — nights, weekends, holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general operations, including opening/closing.
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Lead on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching to keep team on track with performance goals.
• Handle scheduling, inventory, and merchandise replenishment.
